A moist and creamy cake soaked in three types of milk with a hint of mango flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk (12 oz)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup mango puree
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh mango for garnish
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  4. Combine flour and baking powder; add to the creamed mixture alternately with milk.
  5. Pour batter into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool completely.
  8. In a bowl, mix evaporated milk, condensed milk, and heavy cream with mango puree.
  9. Poke holes in the cooled cake and pour the milk mixture over it.
  10. Chill the cake for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  11. Top with whipped cream and garnish with chopped mango before serving.

Notes

  • Use ripe mangoes for best flavor.
  • Make sure the cake is completely cool before soaking.
  • You can add more mango puree to the milk mixture for stronger flavor.
