Delicious peaches and cream bars for a sweet treat.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh peaches, diced
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add the melted butter to the flour mixture and combine.
- Press half of the dough into a greased baking dish.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the dough.
- Top with diced peaches.
- Crumb the remaining dough over the peaches.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Use ripe peaches for the best flavor.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Can substitute with canned peaches if fresh are not available.
