Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh peaches, diced
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Add the melted butter to the flour mixture and combine.
  5. Press half of the dough into a greased baking dish.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the dough.
  7. Top with diced peaches.
  8. Crumb the remaining dough over the peaches.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • Use ripe peaches for the best flavor.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
  • Can substitute with canned peaches if fresh are not available.
