Sweet and tangy strawberry lemonade bars with a buttery crust.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Additional powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour and powdered sugar.
- Add softened butter and blend until crumbly.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 8×8-inch baking dish.
- Bake crust for 15 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add lemon juice, strawberry puree, baking powder, and salt; mix well.
- Pour the filling over the baked crust.
- Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until set.
- Let cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Use fresh strawberries for best flavor.
