A delicious and easy-to-make strawberry poke cake that is perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 1 box of yellow cake mix
- 1 cup of water
- 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup of strawberry jello
- 1 cup of boiling water
- 1 cup of sliced fresh strawberries
- 1 container of whipped topping
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- In a separate bowl, dissolve the strawberry jello in boiling water.
- Once the cake has cooled slightly, poke holes in it with a fork.
- Pour the jello mixture over the cake, allowing it to soak in.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- In a bowl, mix the whipped topping and powdered sugar.
- Spread the whipped topping mixture over the cooled cake.
- Top with sliced strawberries before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- You can use frozen strawberries if fresh ones are not available.
- For added flavor, use strawberry extract in the whipped topping.
