Description
A sweet and salty dessert salad with layers of pretzel crust, cream cheese filling, and strawberry topping.
Ingredients

- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
- 1 cup strawberry gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fold in whipped topping and spread over the cooled pretzel crust.
- In another bowl, dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water.
- Add sliced strawberries to the gelatin mixture.
- Pour the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh strawberries for best flavor.
- Allow the dessert to chill thoroughly for easier serving.
- Feel free to substitute other fruits if desired.
