Description

A light and fruity twist on the classic tiramisu using fresh strawberries.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup ladyfinger cookies
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberries and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Dip ladyfingers in coffee quickly and layer them in a dish.
  4. Add a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  5. Add a layer of chopped strawberries.
  6. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.
  7. Dust the top with cocoa powder.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
